Tuross Head Fishing Club

Well, the 2022 Flathead and Bream Tournament is finished. Thankfully the weather was actually good after weeks of rain. The lake water was murky with a bit of draining current running.

A total of 157 entries were received and of those 18 juniors entered in the newly created junior section. Despite the heavy rains in the preceding weeks causing much concern, there were 266 fish actually caught and submitted as eligible fish.

Without doubt, there would have been more fish caught that were undersized and then released as not being eligible. There were also 9 competitors who had to cancel prior to the Tournament due to Covid concerns and Isolations.
